Thank god for CRU email hackers…

“Scientists” at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit have blessedly had 3000 of their emails hacked by whistleblowers so far unknown. Normally this wouldn’t be a huge deal and I wouldn’t be crowing about it except that these famous climate change modelers have somehow managed to insinuate themselves into the good graces of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to the effect that the IPCC “scientists” have depended on their research with only a tiny amount less assurance than Abraham had that he would be doing the  work of god by slaying his own kid, Isaac.

And oh what a story these emails tell. It seems CRU and IPCC “scientists” got to talking among themselves (they thought) about how they were fudging, cooking  or spinning (take your pick) their global warming research results to conceal  any evidence that the atmosphere might not have been heating up worth a darn since the industrial revolutionists started billowing  billions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The Washington Times  claims that some of these CRU and IPCC “scientists” were even hiding evidence of global cooling.

The timing of this big new hacking experience has “beneficial synchronicity” written all over it as the entire industrialized world is just now in the process of giving the cap and traders everything they need to establish a whole new method of channeling untold tons of wealth into their own coffers out of thin air–cap and trade brokerage fees and buy low, sell high profits, which is really what the global warming invention is all about.

Our own head global warmer David Suzuki once called for politicians who denied the credibility of the  global warming science to be jailed. Speaking at the University of Toronto he apparently opined:   “What I would challenge you to do is to put a lot of effort into trying to see whether there’s a legal way of throwing our so-called leaders into jail because what they’re doing is a criminal act.”

When the global warming science is finally seen for what it truly is–a pile of crap–(water vapour is the only serious greenhouse gas and its amount in our atmosphere and on our earth never changes) will our David (from whom I think I took Zoology 104 at UBC)  turn himself in as the first incarcerate of his goofily- proposed deniers’ prison?

  1. well, if you do not believe in global warming, then why are the ice floes melting, and the sea levels rising? janet

    • Hi Janet. Welcome aboard.

Why are ice floes melting and why are sea levels rising?

Well, icebergs always melt. They break apart and melt. The question is whether this melting causes a net increase in the volume of sea water and a consequent rise in sea levels.

Blessedly, ice is less dense than water. This is why it floats. If ice did not float the oceans would soon fill up with ice and life as we know it would be over.

Melting ice from icebergs or ice floes cannot result in an increase in ocean volume because the ice floating on the sea has aleady displaced its own volume of water and consequent melting will not add to this displacement.

You can prove this by filling a glass half full of water and adding a few ice cubes. Observe to see if the water level has increased after the ice has melting.

In all fairness, proponents of the anthropogenic, ice-melting-global warming theory, no longer use the melting of icebergs as evidence for climate change because most of them now understand this.

Regarding the melting of glaciers, one must ask: Is this a new event, occurring uniquely coincident with increases of C02 in the atmosphere, or has the incidence of glacial melting ebbed and flowed (no pun intended) over the long term of geologic history?

There is, for example, much evidence that while glacial melting has increased since about l850 at the end of the “Little Ice Age,” during which there was atmospheric cooling, this trend has been temporary and cyclical with the passage of time.

And, like rising and falling of sea levels, theories about the warming or cooling of the atmosphere have also ebbed and flowed.

You will recall the “global cooling” scare of the l970s.

Are sea levels really rising? And again, the question is: has it been shown that any increases can be proven to correlate uniquely with increases of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere? Or have sea levels ebbed and flowed (pun intended) for long periods of time before human beings produced enough C02 to make a difference?

Satellite altimetry has made it easier to correlate sea level height with the speed of the rotation of the earth.

By using mathematical formulae and physics it is known that an increase in sea level heights will necessitate a decrease in the rotation speed of the earth.

Regarding supposed sea-level increases, I have been most impressed by the work of Dr. Nils-Axel Morner, head of the Paleogeophysics and Geodynamics department of Stockholm University in Sweden.

Go here: “Claim that Sea Level Is Rising Is A Total Fraud” by Dr. Nilss-Axel Morner.

As this blog continues I hope to show that modern science–most often that which yields a profit for its endorsers and backers–sometimes unjustifiably uses the proposition that concurrence equals causation, which in many cases it clearly does not.

  2. Has it ever occurred to anyone that maybe, just maybe that the earth is evolving into a new age. Over the centuries we have had different ages, the ice age, the iron age, bronze age, crustacious age, technological age which mirrors an age of the past, the carboniferous age What is happening now is just a natural process that man blows way out of proportion as the media wants him to do.
Our world evolves now just as it has done for millions of centuries and will keep on evolving naturally.we should keep our noses out.
